Abby is our sweet black female that quickly stole our hearts. She is one of the most lovable gal labs that I’ve ever been around. She has her mischievous side as well but her sweet disposition and loving eyes makes her pardon all the more worthwhile. She is the gangster of our group and is normally the ringleader of any brewed trouble on the home front.

Everything that exists is for her to enjoy and claimed as hers. She is the cooks’ constant wannabe helper and is always under foot while any meal is being prepared. She is also the reason we no longer have a sliding screen door as access to our deck. It was impossible to slide the door open all the way before Abby would lead the charge through the opening, more often than not, ripping the door off its track and bending the frame. She is also our yard landscaper. The more holes she digs in the yard the better she likes it. Like the rest of her mates, she loves company and adores children. She thinks it’s her job to lick or chew the ears of her fellow labs to the point they become soaked. The sad part is the other dogs seem to enjoy it.
