DuPont "Duey" Cessna is our American chocolate male Labrador retriever. A gentle giant and lovable beyond reason, he is our young prince and quite the favorite to his lady friends, both canine and human. He is long in the legs and body and is a jolly, full of life youngster.

At 4 years old, there is still plenty of spirit and passion inside of him for flat out speed to get to where ever he wants to get to, except when it’s time to come back in the house after a playful romp. Like Botar, Duey can never receive enough petting or belly rubbing. He wants to be the first to go outside and insists on being the last one to come back inside.

Duey loves aquatic activities. He gets particularly excited about swimming in our creek out behind the house. When the party is over, he is usually disappointed and balks at the notion of getting out of the water.

When it comes to downtime, Duey enjoys relaxing on the reclininng chair or he finds a comfy spot on the sofa. He is long and lean, so he requires a lot of space and doesn’t like to be crowded when he's resting.
